Offering impressive amounts of space and four seats, the all new Skoda Citigo will be launched in the UK this summer. Described as 'simply clever', the Citigo will sit firmly in the ever growing market of those looking for an economical, low emission, value for money product.

Engines and Emissions

Two new 1.0 litre three cylinder engines have been especially designed for Citigo. They reach optimum operating temperatures very quickly even on a short journey and boast fuel figures in the 65 plus MPG range and CO2 emissions of under 100 g/km (which means free road tax for the first year and then only £20 per year afterwards.  

Safety 

A head thorax side airbag (which protects the heads of both front seat occupants) is a first for Skoda in the Citigo and part of a safety system normally only found on larger and more expensive vehicles. 'City Safe Drive' is a new brake assistance system using a laser sensor which activates automatically at speeds below 30km/h when there is danger of a collison. The Citigo is one of only two cars currently in this segment to offer such a system.

Good looks 

Not forgetting the new Citigo has that distinctive finned grille set in a chrome plated frame now on all Skoda models and the designers have spent long hours in defining Citigo as the 'new look of Skoda'.
