I just wanted to pass on my gratitude for the exceptional Customer service we received as a result of a small accident I had in my 6.
Sam at Underwoods body shop Sudbury could not have been more helpful, courteous, efficient, or accommodating…I can’t recall the last time we had service like he provided.
Our first contact with him was on a Saturday lunchtime about an hour before he went on holiday for a week – but you wouldn’t have guessed it ! He was totally on the ball, sorted out what we needed, guided us through the steps to get the repair moving, saved my wife having to drive over to get the car checked out for an estimate…and took all of the stress and worry out of the situation. Once the repair was booked in , he sorted out a courtesy car despite the insurance company being very difficult, and was happy to stay late so I could pick my car back up after repair (luckily in the end I got there before closing time). When I dropped the courtesy car off and mentioned my wife wasn’t a fan of manuals, he even said “If you’d let me know I’d have sorted you out an auto courtesy car” !
I’m obviously not planning on needing to use the body shop again, but I can’t say enough positive things about the whole experience dealing with Sam.
If you do have any sort of staff recognition scheme…please move him to the top !

I received a letter from Vauxhall asking me to take my Corsa to Underwoods where I bought the car from, to correct the handbrake. Whilst we were waiting for it to be done we looked round your forecourt. Although I had no intention of selling my 9 year old Corsa having only done approx 21000 miles, I saw another Corsa I liked and bought it. When we collected the car my husband said he was not going to change his car but he saw a Vauxhall Cascada Convertible which he loved so he bought it.
Both times we dealt with Rob Jeffries your Sales Advisor - We were most impressed. We found him extremely pleasant and very helpful and really knowledgeable on cars. We could not thank enough. He is a real credit to your company.

We recently had a fairly serious problem with the fuel pipe for our Astra which potentially could have had major consequences.
We visited your service reception and received what we can only describe as First Class Service from Wayne Gowing who attended us on the day.
Not only was the problem dealt with and given urgent attention but the dealing with the issue surrounding our situation, i.e needing our car for our imminent holiday were exceptional.
A loan vehicle was arranged for an urgent commitment I personally had, Arrangements were made via Vauxhall for a taxi to be provided for our holiday trip to the airport and at all times we were kept fully informed.
The end product was that the replacement fuel pipe arrived much quicker than expected from Germany and immediate action was taken through your service team for works to be carried out.
We collected the car this morning and needless to say, our holiday from this Friday should now go ahead without any problems.
You should be delighted with the quality of service provided by Wayne as we are and we would appreciate you making our commitments known to Wayne and your service team.

Just to say thank you to Debbie Parkinson for all her assistance and support with the changeover. She made it so understandable, pleasurable and straight forward. The new Mokka is great, love the touch screen, and it does appear to have better all-round vision when reversing, unless my sight has improved!
We also received a nice surprise in the post this morning, for looking after the previous Mokka. Weather could be a bit better for the sun roof though, but lovely to have it.

I'm writing to you regarding the recent purchase of of my new Vauxall Mokka.
I came over to your Vauxhall showroom in Sudbury about 3 weeks ago. I was greeted by Kate who asked how she could help me.
I told her what I needed in a car . ..high driving position because I have ongoing back problems etc.
Kate was so enthusiastic and had an enormous amount of knowledge.
Within just half an hour she had gone through various options and I felt, for the first time when choosing a car, that I could make an informed decision on the best one for me.
I have previously been made to feel incapable of understanding cars and quite frankly patronised!
I have always been on the back foot when buying a car, feeling as though I had to watch my back and sadly on a few occasions I have been 'duped' into deals that weren't great.
I have been driving A Class Mercedes for the last 12 years. The last 2 purchases have been terrible with miss sold products and shocking aftercare.
Kate has an honesty and openness that made me feel relaxed and confident that she 'had my back' rather than me having to watch it!!
She went above and beyond the call of duty, even picking me up from my home in order to collect my car!
I just wanted you to know how delighted I am with my experience at your showroom. Also with the superb professionalism, understanding and amazing knowledge that Kate delivered.

I just wanted to give you this feedback on my experience with Kate as I appreciate it enormously .
I am not normally one to put pen to paper regarding my experience of customer service I receive from companies, as I kind of expect it to be good. But in this case I was taken aback by the EXCEPTIONAL way your service department at Colchester dealt with and fixed the issues with my wife’s car on Saturday when the washer pump had failed. It was professional, helpful and done within a few minutes.

First of all, sorry for the delay in writing, it's been nearly a month now since I became the owner of one of your used Mokkas.
This has been the first time I have used your Vauxhall Dealership in Sudbury, indeed to be honest, I had not even heard of you until November last year, being from Chelmsford.
It all started one evening when you were closed, I entered the details in the Value my Car section of your website to get an idea of a part exchange price for my current vehicle, it came back very positive, I had been looking at one of your used Mokkas for some time and it was just what I was looking for in every way. I left a message to say that if the price was right then we would probable have a deal.
The following day, the joy started. I had a welcoming phone call from Kate (Priest). Now changing cars has never been favourite pastime of mine, in fact i generally dread it, its something you have to do every now and then, but this time it was completely different, from that first phone call, to driving away two weeks later in my 'new' vehicle was quite simply an enjoyable experience. Kate has a fantastic way about her, good sales technique, not pushy, which I hate, Very friendly, felt like I had known her ages, an old friend almost, but at the same time very professional and knowledgable about the product, from test drive to warranty to service plans, everything I needed to know, she told it like it is, simple and east to understand, ..... lovely. Even a phone call a few days after I had taken ownership to make sure everything was OK, and did I have any questions I needed to ask was a nice touch too, all in all kate is an asset to your team and I for one would certainly recomment her to others.
I thought I would 'pen to paper' so to speak, because people are quick to write to complain, but not so with any praise, but credit where credit is due, I for one can say that I had an enjoyable experience at your Dealership and everybody who I did speak too during my visits and on the phone were very pleasant and friendly, so a big thank you to you all.
And YES I love the Mokka, really enjoying it.

I would just like to personally thank you for amazing customer care. My recent purchasing of a new Octavia has been a friendly, fast and a easy smooth process. I feel obliged to say a special thank you to Liam D'eath who helped me every step of the process and with a personal touch even went beyond his work and suprised me with a handle to reach my boot lid, this made my transitioning from my old car to my new car a comfortable experience. Its small things like this that you don't get from every car company, this resulted in my first experience with my new car being able to get all my disability equipment in with ease. One happy customer that's sure to be back.

I have a Motability Kia Venga which is coming to the end of its lease. Although I did not purchase it from Underwoods I arranged for the MOT at your Colchester branch. I made the booking a couple of weeks ago.
On walking through the door I was met by the smiling face of Jane Worsfold who invited me to take a seat. Before I had chance to say who I was Jane had produced my paperwork. As I said I had booked the MOT a couple of weeks ago so I was very impressed she had remembered who I was and why I was there. Jane explained the paperwork and as I was waiting for the car she showed me to the waiting area and brought me a cup of hot chocolate. When the MOT had been completed she, again, fully explained the paperwork to me.
Jane is a fantastic asset to Underwoods. She was very courteous and made me feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Regretfully I am not getting a Kia when my car is exchanged on the 21st so I will not be utilising Underwoods for the next three years. However, depending on how my new car ‘shapes up’ I may decide to have a Kia Venga again.
I know my daughter uses Underwoods for her leased Peugeot and has also praised your company. I will fully recommend your company to anyone wanting an excellent service. Whatever Jane is being paid it should be doubled!
Two weeks ago I collected my brand new factory order Octavia from your Skoda garage and would just like to express how impressed I was with everything.
Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and it was all much more pleasant than the rather miserable experience I had at a Ford dealer, whilst considering the Focus before choosing the Skoda.
In particular, my wife and I thought Liam De'ath was fantastic. Very friendly, always professional, great with entertaining our children (the kids loved him and that makes a big difference!) and ever helpful.
He even phoned us in the evening to finalise the deal. He had promised to come back to us that day and did and to me that shows someone who cares about the customer as much as the sale.
Further to this, the manager Julian was equally enjoyable to deal with during Liam's absence. Both of them are a real credit to you.
I am extremely pleased with the car and glad I bought from Underwoods. When my Dad decides to replace his second Octavia, I know where to send him.

My wife and I recently took delivery of a new Skoda Fabia, Sat 21st May in fact. We bought the car through the Motability Scheme. The salesman throughout the whole process was Liam D'eath.
He was absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, always cheerful, did everything for us and talked us through the whole process. As you'll gather my wife and I were more than pleased with him, he's highly recommended.

The dealership I bought my previous car from I found the staff ignored me and wouldn't help out and overall service was terrible.
I went to Vauxhall and it was so different, staff couldn't do enough for me, they offered me a drink, nothing was to much trouble. The salesman I had was Andy and he couldn't do enough for me, he still ring's checking if I am happy with the car and in general he was very friendly as all the other staff, he showed me the how the instruments worked and when I asked anything he would politely and respectfully show and tell me again.
I wish that all dealerships was like Underwoods in Clacton. Overall excellent service and would recommend this dealer to my friends and family.
I think the following comments will be of interest to you.
I consider that my Kia Picanto, which is now approaching its third year, is the best car I have ever owned. It contains so much that is needed by the driver today and I still discover something else that I was unaware of. Perhaps I should read the owners book more closely.
The three years free service which ends this year, has been of great benefit to us as OAP'S and I often tell friends of this and other benefits with the Kia. Regarding the service and other actions I would like to commend your dealership Underwoods of Colchester. They have provided excellent service and help over the years, nothing is too much for them. They are in my opinion, a credit to your company. One should not give names but Jane Worsley and Ashley Prior at Underwoods have been outstanding with their help and advice on the Kia.

The customer service lady I dealt with was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me well. I explained the issue with the car and she understood what I was saying. This had not been my experience at the previous Peugeot dealership I had visited. The vehicle health check was thorough and I had confidence that the ongoing issue I had with my car would finally be resolved.
